Byzantina Nova: Journal of Byzantine History, Culture, Philosophy and Medicine is now building its Editorial Masthead and invites distinguished researchers, scholars, and academics working across the full spectrum of Byzantine studies to join our editorial team. We seek experts in Byzantine history, governance, art history, archaeology, philosophy, theology, medicine, philology, diplomacy, military history, epigraphy, numismatics, sigillography, liturgy, monasticism, Late Antique and Early Christian studies, post-Byzantine and Ottoman period studies, as well as comparative and cross-cultural studies of the medieval Mediterranean, the Near East, the Balkans, the Caucasus, and Eastern Europe. We also welcome scholars whose work intersects with Byzantine studies from neighboring disciplines, including classical studies, medieval Latin history, Islamic and Arabic studies, Slavic and Balkan studies, Armenian, Georgian, and Caucasian studies, medieval art history and architecture, history of science and medicine, legal history and canon law, and social and economic history.
