SYNERIS is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research across the full spectrum of the social sciences. The journal's name, derived from the concept of synergy, reflects its core mission: to build intellectual bridges between disciplines, encourage scholarly dialogue, and foster collaborative knowledge production that transcends traditional academic boundaries.

In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, major social challenges cannot be adequately understood within the confines of a single discipline. Issues such as inequality, migration, demographic change, political transformation, climate change, digitalization, technological disruption, and social exclusion require integrated perspectives. SYNERIS provides a platform for research that brings together diverse theories, approaches, and forms of evidence to develop more comprehensive understandings of contemporary social phenomena.

SYNERIS welcomes theoretical, conceptual, empirical, comparative, methodological, and review-oriented scholarship employing qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, historical, interpretive, computational, or other rigorous approaches. The journal particularly encourages studies addressing emerging and cross-cutting issues in society, including digital transformation, artificial intelligence, globalization, migration, governance, inequality, culture, education, work, sustainability, social policy, and changing forms of social organization.
